I have yet to get through the first episodes of Mikadono Shimai, Denkin no Mogura and Fermat no Ryouri. Don’t know if that’s gonna make me stick with these titles or not since I dropped their original works when I read them for the first time, but I stick to my code of watching at least the first episode of every anime in every season.
I’m reading a lot of manga too, but I’m not quite keeping record of them all, lmao. Making that list would take me a bit more time.

I’m still running this blog, just not as active anymore due to real life. This seems like a good opportunity to talk about why I’ve been only on queue for about a year and a half now. So for about two years, my laptop had been acting funny. I found out a little too late that it was hard drive issues. My now 11-year old baby is a veteran and needs rest. I’m absolutely never updating it to Windows 10 or 11. Ever. They suck ass.
Anyway, it started turning off randomly whenever I tried to edit stuff, so I had to stop doing that. The problem was: I also couldn’t just get myself a new laptop because I was a dirt-poor grad school student living on the other side of the planet. I basically had to suck it up and keep my old laptop alive until I graduated, came back home and got a full-time job again, so that buying a new laptop wouldn’t be too hard on my savings. I only managed to do this in May. However, when work started in June, I just got so incredibly busy that, to this day, I still haven’t found time to translate all the stuff I wanted to and make edits.
I really want to go back to editing as fast as possible, but I need to do one thing at a time. For now, I’m just trying really hard to translate everything I’ve owed people for a while now.
Now to answer the questions: I have never translated any of the Tsurune songs. I thought the character songs would’ve been translated somewhere by now?? Are there no translations for them anywhere?? I mean, it doesn’t surprise me, given how small this fandom is, but are you sure no one else has done it? Or do you want a translation with an interpretation of what the lyrics mean? Because they sure have a lot of novel references. Everyone who read the novels agreed that the songs are the only anime-related content that actually seems to have the novel’s essence in them.

the thing is that childhood doesn’t just end when you turn 18 or when you turn 21. it’s going to end dozens of times over. your childhood pet will die. actors you loved in movies you watched as a kid will die. your grandparents will die, and then your parents will die. it’s going to end dozens and dozens of times and all you can do is let it. all you can do is stand in the middle of the grocery store and stare at freezers full of microwave pizza because you’ve suddenly been seized by the memory of what it felt like to have a pizza party on the last day of school before summer break. which is another ending in and of itself
